VISION

CUSTOMER-FOCUSED, SOLUTION-DRIVEN

In 1978, AtlasFlex – formerly Atlas Chem-Milling – was established by Atlas Die LLC to manufacture flexible rotary anvil dies for the pressure sensitive label and business forms industry. Additionally the steel counterplates AtlasFlex produces complement Atlas Die’s steel rule die product line. Atlas purchased Chem-Par, a division of American Can Company, in 1981 and merged its operations with AtlasFlex, adding bonded steel rule die and large format Rotoplate dies to Atlas’ extensive product offering.

Today, the AtlasFlex facility in Elkhart, Indiana, houses the complete manufacturing process including plate cleaning and coating departments and etching and finishing departments. Each die is inspected prior to shipment.
